Little Expressions

While shopping for baby shower gifts recently I came across these pacifiers, which made me ooohhh, giggle and ahhhh... I just had to buy one that made me giggle, the mute botton. There are many personalizations to choose from and you can even have them personalized with a name, word, or phrase of your choosing. These can be found at many retailers, including Nordstoms, where I found mine, but you may also want to visit thier website at http://www.personalizedpacifiers.com/ and witness the gold and diamond paci for that over the top gift. Simple expressions pacis like the mute button start at $4.99.

Forget Me Not

I have many of those days where nothing is retainable, you'd forget your head if it wasn't attached! Children, pets, husbands, significant others and all our daily tasks all piled up do t will lead anyone to memory overload! So don't feel bad, you just need a little help... and this could be something that works for you. The Forget Me Not Handy Handle Pad can be just the thing to do the trick. Start delegating! Want to leave a little "to do list" for that uninspired teen? Quickly write what you want done and conveniently leave it on their doorknob! Don't want to forget the laundry detergent for the thrird time? Hang a note to yourself on the front door before you leave. Each pad contains fifty sheets and is bound to spark a little glimmer of memory, or at the very least a conversation when your neighbor asks why you have 50 sheets of paper hanging from your door knob. These can be found at www.seejanework.com or follow this link: http://www.seejanework.com/ProductCart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=0&idproduct=517 $10

A little bit O sin.... A tiny bit O guilt

Aren't there days when you just wish you could envelope yourself in your favorite forbidden food and hibernate there, shielded away from the world and it's noise? Although there are many a day that I wish this, the reality is that I simply cannot cocoon myself in fine Belgian truffles. But, what I did find in my local Trader Joe's was a great substitute. Trader Joe's Milk Chocolate Product of Belgium. It is only 1.75 oz. in size, comes in a pretty pink wrapper, and is conveniently portioned in little bite size squares. So when it comes time to splurge you can easily only partake in a couple mouth watering squares, or you can follow my lead and eat the whole delightful bar.

My Magic Toilet Wand

Sometimes, I wonder how I get it all done.... the dishes, the laundry, the ironing, cleaning the bathrooms, I mean, I never even allow a dirty dish to sit in the sink! Yeah, I totally rock, I'm like this freakishly organized and domestic Supermom slash wife.......
Shaaaa, as if! Hmmmm... Well, the reality isn't so sparkling clear, or clean, and my laundry has actually migrated from an overflowing laundry basket to a new breeding pile in my walk in (if you can find the floor) closet.
Real moms need a little help. We don't always get it done, and if you do, you have usually ended your day feeling like you are a ticking time bomb ready to IMplode! So here's my tip for the day that might move you a little closer to enlightenment.... or a cleaner toilet.....
Presenting the Clorox Toilet Wand! I hate, hate, hate to clean the toilet. The germs, the stains, the smell, the hangover flash-backs, and the general idea of it usually keeps me away... But not with my new toilet wand! With just one hand I click the wand into a new cleaning head, which is pre treated with cleanser, scrub away and then with the same hand release the used scrubbing head into the garbaaag! Viola, a clean toilet with minimum effort, time, and yuckiness.
